Lovely landscape but the areas outside the main towns are quite basic, lots of half-built and abandoned buildings, every bit of vaguely non-mountain has been terraced and cultivated. Lots of rubbish. Got in around noon.
In Palermo, had to quickly book another bus for tomorrow, also find a cheap hotel room.
Then a massive walking tour around Palermo. At first I was a bit intimidated, I immediately walked into labyrinthine fairly rough neighbourhood, but walking all day slowly got used to it and started to relax.
These first ones are out the window of the bus.
This intersection is called 4 canti, so I guess these guys are the 4 cunts.
Walked through a little bike repair zone, really nice old bikes being resurrected
